Ruth Jordan is the founder and president of The Jordan Group, a full-service interior design firm specializing in corporate and healthcare interiors across Texas. With more than two decades of experience, she brings a strategic, service-focused approach to every project. She founded the firm in 2012 to build lasting relationships and design spaces that reflect and support the people who use them. Ruth is active in CREW, RECSA, and IIDA.

Carol Boone is a Senior Interior Designer at The Jordan Group with over two decades of experience in commercial interiors. Her expertise lies in project management and construction documentation. At The Jordan Group, Carol oversees all production and construction administration efforts. She served as Government Regulatory Affairs Chair for IIDA.

Ruth Jordan

RID, NCIDQ, IIDA

With more than two decades of industry experience, Ruth brings a strategic and service-focused approach to every project. She prioritizes spaces that are not only beautifully designed but also highly functional and purpose-driven. She began her career designing K-12 environments for a large architectural firm in Houston before moving to San Antonio to join a smaller corporate focused design firm, where she grew into a leadership role and deepened her expertise in commercial interiors. In 2012, she founded The Jordan Group with a simple but important goal: to build lasting relationships and design spaces that reflect and support the people who use them. At the center of it all is a people-first mindset and a desire to serve well. Ruth built her firm on trust, attention to detail, and strong communication. She is passionate about bridging creativity with practicality to deliver environments that reflect brand identity, enhance user experience, and provide long-term value. In addition to business owner and entrepreneur, Ruth is a proud wife and mother of two boys; she loves being with her family, sitting lakeside and watching football.

Carol Boone

Carol brings over two decades of experience in commercial interiors. Her expertise lies in project management, construction documentation, and a keen attention to detail, ensuring each project is executed with precision and purpose. Throughout her career, Carol has collaborated with leading design firms on global projects, honing her skills in managing complex commercial designs. Before joining The Jordan Group in 2014, she led the creative design department of a prominent furniture dealership, where she guided clients through the design process. At The Jordan Group, Carol oversees all production and construction administration efforts, ensuring that each space is delivered with clarity and care. Her steady leadership and process-driven mindset make her an integral part of the team. Carol is a Texas Registered Interior Designer and contributed to the industry through her role as Government Regulatory Affairs Chair for IIDA. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and often engages in crafting projects.

Cristina “Cris” Ramirez-Hernandez

With more than two decades of interior design experience, Cris brings adaptability, insight, and genuine care to every project. Her work spans healthcare, commercial, government, and education environments, giving her a strategic approach to the most complex design challenges. Cris pairs intentional solutions with a relationship-driven approach, aligning each project with the client’s vision while building trust among clients and teammates.

Caitlyn Peña

Caitlyn brings creativity and a fresh perspective to everything she touches. Guided by a passion for purposeful design, she has a keen eye for design development, furniture, and accessories. Her thoughtful approach adds depth and intention to every project from design development through construction administration. Caitlyn continues to grow as a designer and recently completed the IIDA Texas Oklahoma Chapter Emerging Leaders Program.

Caroline Savell

Caroline approaches design with curiosity and an analytical perspective. She considers how culture and context can shape spaces that function well and feel meaningful. Known for her thoughtful collaboration, Caroline builds strong relationships that support each project from concept through completion.

Chelsea Ryken

Chelsea approaches design with an appreciation for the ways culture and tradition shape a space. Her time in Italy broadened her perspective and continues to influence her work. She brings this outlook to each project, balancing beauty and functionality to create spaces that feel thoughtful and well considered.

Julie Galvan

Drawing on more than two decades of experience in finance and management, Julie Galvan keeps the firm’s projects and daily operations on track. Her organization, precision, and attention to detail support project budgets, schedules, and office needs. By carefully weighing options and anticipating challenges, Julie makes sound decisions that strengthen our team and the service we provide to our clients.

Raider

Meet Raider, our Chief People Officer. 🐾 He may not manage project schedules or review finish selections, but he leads the charge on morale, hallway greetings, and mid-day stretch breaks. Raider takes his role seriously. His goofy presence, loyal spirit, and well-timed tail wags make every day brighter.
